Rental Contract
All Matanuska Music's instrument rentals require a contract and
payment for the first three months of the rental. The
contract then continues as a month-to-month contract. During that
time, you may buy-out the instrument for 30% off of its list price.
If you do not wish to buy-out early, you may continue to rent the
instrument until it is paid in full, after which the instrument becomes
your property. You may also return the instrument at any time and
pay no additional charges in addition to your regular monthly rental.
Matinenance Plan
Matanuska Music's optional service plan will cover all regular
maintenance costs associated with your instrument.
We like to call it our 'Don't Worry - Be Happy' plan. The 'Don't Worry -
Be Happy' plan covers things like springs, pads, and adjustments. Massive
metalwork such as removing dents and re-soldering is not
typical and is not covered under the 'Don't Worry Be Happy' plan. If
you are careful with your instrument, you stand to save a lot of money. If
you choose to decline the DWBH plan, you will be responsible for all the
maintenance costs of the instrument.
Rental Deposit
Rentals must be secured with a major credit card bearing
the name of the person who is renting the instrument. Debit
or check cards with a Visa or Mastercard logo may be used for
payment, but are NOT attached to a line of credit and CANNOT
be used to secure a rental. If you do not wish to use a credit card,
you may make a cash deposit of half of the instrument's value.
Trading Up
Trade your instument for an intermediate or professional
level instrument of the same kind and receive 75% of your rental fees as
credit toward your purchase! Don't lose your equity!
