Lessons

Matanuska Music provides a list of current music teachers in the Valley that have submitted resumes and have been interviewed. Each teacher is made sure to be qualified in their field, and background checks are required by the teachers that work with the home school programs. We also have teachers that conduct their lessons here at our store.

Note: This list is just that - a list of available music instructors. We do not make any guarentees or offer any warranties expressed or implied reguarding any of these instructors. Each is unique in their approach to teaching any may or may not be a good fit for you. Here are some questions you may want to ask:

How long have you been teaching your instrument?
What is the average age of your student?
Which lesson times are available?
How much do you charge and what is your fee schedule?
Do you specialize in any style of music?
